Intended use:This immunoassay kit allows for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat CXCL16 concentrations in serum, plasma and other biological fluids.
Introduction:Chemokine (C-X-C motif) ligand 16 (CXCL16) is a small cytokine belonging to the CXC chemokine family. Larger than other chemokines (with 254 amino acids), CXCL16 is composed of a CXC chemokine domain, a mucin-like stalk, a transmembrane domain and a cytoplasmic tail containing a potential tyrosine phosphorylation site that may bind SH2.
Test principle:The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to CXCL16.The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of a sulphuric acid solution and the color change is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm 2 nm. The concentration of CXCL16 in the samples is then determined by comparing the O.D. of the samples to the standard curve.
